I used to think that I can only store seldom used stuff and old furniture in the attic or in the basement but this thinking changed when my sister showed me a number of garage storage ideas. Now I have a storage system installed in my garage which is very helpful not only in freeing up space but also in organizing items. I was actually surprised when my sister shared this idea with me because as far as I know she has always hated me. No matter what I say, she has this belief that our parents always favored me over her. This is the reason why even if I try to be close to her or to be an elder sister she is not open. I love her dearly and I am really sad that we never had the chance to have a close relationship. Nevertheless, I am hoping that her helping me with my space problem will be a start of a better relationship between the two of us. |

My mother is a very handy person, and you will see the proof of that when you visit our home. She has a way of making things look better and she has created a very good home environment for us. She has a garden that makes her be envied by the other mothers in the block. I do not know why they envied her flowers and yet they also had the same opportunity to plant their own flowers. My father said that the secret to my mothers flowers was that she had passion, when she planted them she did it with a lot of passion. She did that with everything that she cared about him included. I remember one time she had to go through a minor surgery and she asked me to take care of her garden. She told me to treat it as if it were My Garden and that is exactly what I did. Every time I tended to the flowers, I would think of her and that was enough motivation for me to do a good job. |

The best activity to do on a hot summer day is to cool off by visiting the beach. You should pack a towel, your swim suit, sunscreen, sunglasses and a book. It is always more entertaining to go with a couple of friend, that way you can have someone to chat with while you lay on the sand. You should also bring some money in case there is a canteen available, so that you can buy cool drinks like lemonade, although I've seen beaches with pop up marquees that sell refreshing drinks too. Noon time is usually the best time to go because that is when it is hottest out. The beach is a great place for a nap or a game of volleyball with some friends. Afterwards you could go out for fish and chips for dinner, because beaches in coastal towns often have many small diners along the roads to the beaches with fresh fish caught that morning by local fisherman. |
